The Speakers

Dr. Patrice Palmer
SATURDAY LUNCH KEYNOTE

Dr. Patrice Palmer currently is an innovative social justice advocate and independent consultant at Chosen4Change, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring about restorative measure, through wholistic approach for both the families and individuals that are incarcerated or reentering society. Dr. Palmer works at the Franklin County Office of Justice Policy & Programs as a Reentry Support Specialist and Lead Facilitator for Pathways Achieving Recovery by Choice Program. She provides direct services to high risk, dual diagnosis women reentering the community from the Franklin County Correctional Center II. Through out-of-the-box thinking and personal experiences, Dr. Palmer through her extensive employment over the past 10 years has been able to lead her team and jump hurdles on both programmatic and administrative levels.

Dr. Palmer utilizes the values of social work as a guiding light and principles in her work. As Dr. Palmer states, “If we can restore the value, dignity, and worth of a person, we return a more productive citizen back into society.”

Mary Miller
FRIDAY LUNCH KEYNOTE

Mary Miller is the CEO of JANCOA Janitorial Services. An award-winning, 48 year-old family owned and operated commercial cleaning company in Cincinnati. JANCOA created a dream program that encourages people around the world to achieve their dreams. This program has evolved into a culture of caring. Mary’s forward-thinking and caring entrepreneurial spirit is evident in all aspects of her life. An energetic and enthusiastic business leader, she is notorious for her positivity and desire to help others realize their uniqueness and personal power.

Author of Changing Direction: Ten Choices that Impact Your Dreams, where she outlines steps anyone can take to achieve their wildest dreams. In addition to running a business with over 600 full-time employees, Mary is an Associate Coach at Strategic Coach in Chicago, the #1 business coaching program for entrepreneurs. Mary has received many accolades including the YWCA Career Woman of Achievement, EY Entrepreneur of the Year Ohio Valley Lifetime Achievement award and Doctorate of Humane Letters from Mount Saint Joseph College.

Greg Podd
RI REPRSENTATIVE

Greg Podd is a C.P.A. (Certified Public Accountant Retired – AZ) and a P.F.S. (Personal Financial Specialist) having operated his own practice until retirement in January 2000. During his professional tenure, he has written four professional continuing education courses and has been a keynote speaker at five national conferences.

Greg became a Rotarian in May 1982 and is a member of the Evergreen Rotary Club. He served as Rotary International Vice President 2015-16, Rotary International Director 2014-15, and as District Governor in Arizona District 5510 in 2003-04. Additionally he has served on numerous committees within Rotary.

Greg is the recipient of the “Service Above Self Award” and The Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service Award. Greg and his wife Pam have been married for 40 years, and have three children and four grandchildren. All members of the family are Paul Harris Fellows with Greg and Pam being Bequest Society and Arch C. Klumph Society Members.
